Love
Love is known to be said ‘hard to find’
But something about it so divine.
Once finding it, we must take good care of it
Nurture that love, to grow and prosper
Don’t let love leave
Consumed in the sweet, caring affection of another
Nothing can replace it
He is my quiet place
He is my safe haven
I feel protected
No one can replace him
Sadly, when I’m around him the time goes by
In a blink of an eye
As fast a hare
Wishing that time would stop for a mere moment
My heart cries with glee when he does something sweet
Something out the blue
Unexpected
Like having a dinner date on a doomsday
A memory that never leaves my mind
Is a memory of him in it
A memory as fresh as paint
Is a time we actually painted together
I was able to get him out of his comfort zone
Colorful vibrant paint everywhere
Our laughter of that night fills my heart
His steady dedication to his piece was lovely
And his encouragement on my painting was endearing
