The Runner’s Feelings
When you run,
You feel your heart beating within you,
Telling you that You’re alive,
You feel the energy in your legs,
Propelling you onward,
You feel the wind in your face,
Blowing around your hair,
You feel your lungs,
Straining to get enough oxygen,
You feel joyful pain,
And grieving happiness,
You are a lion,
Not to be stopped by anything small,
You are Alive.
