Imagination
Reality is subjective
What determines the validity of reality
If something isn't tangible, is its realness effective
Imagination quivers angrily
It wants to fabricate its own life
Threading a person’s desires into their life without the aspects they dread.
However, this sparks a strife
A world living inconspicuously in their head
Sure can not be real.
For real things can be touched and experienced
However, if their daydreaming feels genuine, what’s the big deal?
Made up scenarios sufficing for unattainable experiences leave them euphoriant
Disappointment is forgotten and replaced with memories that can be orchestrated and controlled
But reflecting when you’re old
Realization dawns that life is about risk
Not resetting a scene with a brisk click
And those scenarios you foster deprive you of the feeling that defines life
An uncertain and blind force that acts as your travel guide
The unknown is formidable and invokes fear
But also exciting and worth the flare.
