A calm clear pond

Lilies and grass go along with the streams

A dragonfly glides through the wind.

It’s gentle music created through the silence 

as it surfs the tiny, crystal, blue colored waves of the pond. 

A clear day quickly turns into grey

Rain crashes down upon the pond 

Angry waves crashing against each other. 

Reflections of trees distorted

Panic ensuing all around

A dragonfly faces the dagger-like weeds 

protruding out from the upset waters. 

The rain stops, leaving a silence, in mourning 

left behind in the mud before life continues on.
