Sixteen
When I was 16 I lay in bed
Wondering what my future will be like
Staying in the same room, discouraged, and hopeless
Wishing I could cry, but just bottling it all in
Looking at all the old pictures, and knowing those moments are over with
It’ll be awhile they say, but they don’t understand the effect is has on my mentality
They don’t realize how hard it’ll be for me to accept this is my life for now
Just staying inside and not going anywhere
No karate
No school
No seeing other family and friends
Nothing
Just sitting in my room
