Letting go: a cure
Letting go is sometimes the cure
When the rope tightens and scars your wrist
Unwind the interlace of the tarnished braids
Sometimes holding back is poison
Like setting your bare hands in metal cuffs
Your heart gets caught up in a grey cell
Slow but steady, I'm surfacing
Forgetting the bittersweet nights
Finally letting you go
The dormant volcano of the past
Comes with pride back to life
To prove that a new era is yet to begin
That's how I abruptly fell
Into a new beginning
That started from the past end
Dear old dreamer,
Thank you for throwing your spell
