I like getting up before the sun
Both weekdays and weekends
I like talking to myself when there’s no one
I like itchy sweaters, unbearable hugs
I like winter weather, drinking iced drinks when the snow comes
I like watching sad movies to make myself cry
I like staring at the ceiling
I like wondering why
I like playing pretend, living in my imagination
I like my emotions intense and needing constant validation
I like the broken things that aren’t shiny and new
Things that can’t be lacquered over
Like me and you.
