A Window Has Opened

With the clearing fogs,
a window opened -
to a world rejuvenated with vigor.
A vigor displayed on the glistening dews
of the grass and of all life.
The robin rising early,
gently glides the sky -
as if sailing the calm tides.
Of the creatures within the woods,
hooved beasts galloped freely -
loudly, as if thunder striking down.
Soon the jays were up -
chirping songs of joy and welcome.
Indeed, a window has opened,
unto a world refreshed.
With its thirst of life quenched by the fog.
