I sit outside on the moist grass.
I see decaying leaves on trees,
They look like crumpled up paper.
I watch them flutter in the wind,
And fall to the ground.
I look up to the beautiful blue sky.
Outside in this peaceful environment,
I am truly in my happy place.
I feel the bright sun beating down on me,
Like someone is punching me on the back of the neck.
I smell the fresh lawn clippings,
Reminding me of a simpler time,
From when I was little.
I see all this appealing nature,
I realize how beautiful our planet is.
