Moon

A subtle ivory glow

emerging from the dusk,

the bashful face of rock

casually peering down on us.

Oh, just a deflating beachball
in a vast aquatic sea

bleached by sweet sunrays

and eagerly fading away.

A miniscule speck of dust,

a meek flickering bulb

lazily burning out

as the waning night grows old.

I attempted to reduce an "extraordinary" object with this poem, I hope you enjoy!
