If Tomorrow Doesn't Come

If tomorrow doesn’t come, the planet will spin

Children would still wear grins

Some hearts would be heavy

To others, the world would seem grim

If tomorrow doesn’t come, the heavy burden of my life will be off my shoulders

But to others, it will transfer like boulders

If I do not see the sun tomorrow

I know it will be beautiful nonetheless

When I die

Those that did not care for me might feel compelled to cry

Those that loved me would suffer

But I’d finally be rid of my problems

So what will it be?

Will I see the sun tomorrow,

Or will at night be my final plea?
