Fly, Not Fall
You will often find me staring at the sky
Day or night
Just to look at the birds
To know that I'm not alone
Birds are so marvelous
They can fly and sing in the rain
Yet, they're bound to fall from the sky
I find comfort in a flaw like that,
that something so perfect is flawed at its most perfect thing
And even though the birds fall
You will often find me staring at the sky
Just to see them spread their wings
To know that flaws will never define
