I wish cats liked the rain
I like it when it is dark and cloudy
Perhaps its raining or it has stopped recently
And the greens are so bright
And the trees breathe
Everything seems alive
They look so happy
The gray contrasts the living
The world seems real
Asleep, and awake, impartial
Like a small flowing stream
Calm and finally no longer deluded
Clear
Darks show best when contrasted with the bright
But I think they are prettier on their own,
no need for all the contrast.
It is best when cold
Crisp and real
Like Ice melting in your hand
Living in so dry, so hot
A prison of the blue sky
Even surrounded by plants it feels like a dessert
Sticky humid suffocation
Lungs tiredly waiting
For their next breath
To be no longer,
Exhausted
As if measuring myself to everything
I am no longer exhausted
Only calm
My perspective changes
And like the greens I become alive,
Saturated,
Otherworldly in peace with what is
I can no longer excuse my aggressiveness
