FRAME OF MIND
FRAME OF MIND
If you think you’ll lose, you’ve lost
If you think you’ll win, you’ve won
If you think you’re a thrall, you’re
If you think you’re a king, you’re
For it’s all in the frame of mind
To commence with triumph, triumph has to commence within you
To stand tall robustly, the perpetual courage has to start within you
To attain victory graciously, the relentless fire of immortal diligence has to kindle within you
To crack the egg and catch the fragile life falling apart the force has to emerge within you
For it’s all in the frame of mind
Before mortals hiss at you, applaud for yourself.
Before mortals criticize you, appreciate yourself.
Before mortals strive to bow you down, rise up yourself
Before mortals inform that you’ll fall through, mumble firmly to nerve and sinew that you can; you will
For it’s all in the frame of mind
The notion of belief in yourself has to start with you because it has to end with you
You’re the one at the sail; you’re the master of your sea
You’re the one aloft in the air; you’re the master of your sky
Terminate dismaying over what can go wrong; be thrilled about what can go right
For it’s all in the frame of mind
All life battles don’t go the potent or steady one
But sooner or later, to the one who thinks he can
As he who thinks he can and he who thinks he can’t
Both are usually right!
For it’s all in the frame of mind
Just when the pupa apprehended its time of departure from life
The butterfly started fluttering around
Contemplate what you perceive is spectacular or miserable
As the difference between both lies in the leap of your faith
For it’s all in the frame of mind
