Goodbye
Goodbye, the hardest thing to face
Seeing someone you love walk away, all you wish to do is chase
Is it goodbye forever or a see you later?
Trying to think positive, hoping the outcome is greater
Tears weakness and pain at its finest
Hoping time goes by fast
Listening to our song while leaving you
There goes my past.
Arriving home was the hardest part
The sadness continued to rise
Others trying to talk to me, I can't even look them in the eyes
Goodbye, the hardest thing to face

This piece is very personal to me. I wrote this poem from experience and wanted to pay close attention to word choice and detail. I really enjoyed writing this poem and would hope it could be something special!
