a cigarette cloud
is nothing in the dark
and a nuisance in the day
and art under this light
i don’t know if it’s the insomnia or the
ecstatic distance of my mind
but i feel like i’ve missed this
an angel
it never stays
silent begging does no favours
but if i stare at my ceiling hard enough
i can see ghosts
