Are they rivers,

Or streams,

Am I tearing,

At the seams,

How can I,

Be fine,

If these emotions,

Are not mine,

When the wolf,

That would not show,

Became the thing,

I am to know,

When the light,

Seems always dim,

When my eyes,

Are full to the brim,

When the path,

Is full of grit,

Full of pain,

Every bit,

When the flow,

Has stopped,

When the cork,

Has popped,

When everything,

Seems too hard,

My chances,

Just look marred,

But I'll always,

Try to hope,

Always cling,

To the rope,

Try to make,

It right,

To put my problems,

Out of sight,

Maybe I try,

Or maybe I don't,

But the answer I refuse is,

"I just won't".
