When I'm gray
When I was three,
Swings made me happy
Laughter and joy and flurries
Love was my spoken language
Never seen life on faded beige
When I was eight,
It's when I lost my first bate
Felt what it's like to be jealous
The first time to feel down
But I still had the platinum love
When I was twelve,
I tasted sunshine
I touched independence
Distinguished all shades of courage
And memorised what victory looked like
When I was fifteen,
I learned not to trust
Understood how roses stab
How angels are undercover devils
Then moved on
Now I'm seventeen,
I'm a cloud of drenched memories
A sprinkle of a dreamer
My world is mysteriously private
But I still grasp on my innocence
When I become twenty,
Older version of the three year old
Still in love with swings
Experiences carved onto the soul
And still moving on
When I'm gray,
I will smile in remembrance
Of the perfect silhouettes
That I have painted
Back in the colourful days

It's funny how transition phases in my life are very controversial. I just wonder what it will be like when I'm all gray...
