Maddy

What made Maddy Run 

was voices in the ocean. 

A quiet power, 

a long way gone. 

A reminder of her dad, 

that meant everything to her. 

Should she keep running 

or turn 

and find her way home. 

Is this really what she wanted? 

To be a runner her whole life? 

But the oceans current was too strong, 

pulling her to run through the night.
