Professional mourner
The feeling of loss has always been close,
Must be why it's so easy to put on this face.
For the people around me it must be far from easy;
The pain is heartfelt,
The wound left behind is real,
The loss is almost too much to bear.
I may not know the person in the casket but i'll hear enough
stories to grasp what they've left behind.
deceased faces,the only thing left unchanged by their passing.
Watching as families fall to shambles,
It's hard even after all these years.
