My soul can not stand this world

What goes on in it

I think you know, I’m too weak 

I try to be strong 

And I try to be selfless

But I am selfish

So selfish I’d jump with tears in my eyes and a smile on my face 

Knowing it was my last day

How sad to die to escape my mind

But right before I close my eyes

I see you

And I see your soul

I see forever in your eyes

So I climb down to you 

Only to say goodbye 

And I hold onto you 

Knowing it's the last time

Without saying a word

I knew it was you 

I knew you’d be the one to save me 

But I didn’t know that you were also saving yourself 

Because you're just as weak

You needed me more then I needed myself

Why were we placed in this world

Our hearts can not take torture

Were too oblivious to have descended down from heaven 

I just wanted to sleep in peace
