Dying Starfish

Final hours of a dying starfish on Sunday
are glistening wet on the magic sand of the deluge.
The sand is music pulsing in and out
and the waters burst with dolphins.
Ah, by and by, the light that makes windows into sun-catchers
turns to shadow when the fiddle serenades
the final hours of the starfish.
