Girls who love clouds
They are daydreamers
and big believers.
They disappear from reality
wondering how could life be so beautiful on the outside
but so ugly on the inside
They are sad.
They are in the midst of heartbreak
Their safety net is watching the clouds walk through the baby blue sky.
Crying with the clouds as they shed their tears.
In the shed of sun creeping out as the clouds move past, give these girls a kiss on the cheek
reminding them that they are loved
and that earth is beautiful
just not the people on it.
as if the sun knows
just how much the warmth on our cheeks makes us feel needed.
The sky makes them feel human
Because humans degrade girls
Makes them feel not valued
Because they dare to be women
When they run to their safety net, it gives endless possibilities on where to run next.
Their beautiful souls
Allow the sun
To shine again in the morning
