It Is Not My Heart That Aches…
It is not my heart that aches,
But my limbs that shake,
When I think of you.
It is my thoughts that reverberate
When I attempt to incapsulate
All that I feel for you.
It is my soul crying out,
And receiving no answer.
It is my body hungering,
It is my body longing,
For just a few moments close to you.
But no,
My heart does not ache,
Because you hold it with you,
Every single day.
