I am ethereal and intense

I wonder how the moon dares to radiate in the dark night

I hear the waves crash against the shore

I see a white songbird flutter itself into the sun

I want to fly as well

I am ethereal and intense

I pretend to be a wizard saving the world

I feel the sun tickle my skin

I touch the silken fur of the creatures on this earth

I worry that they will never see their children grow

I cry watching their homes be demolished

I understand the world is far reaching and fascinating 

I say that we are just floating on a rock through space

I dream of a world kind enough to encompass our souls

I hope that one day the violence will come to an end
