The Flute Seller
Oh! There he is with a flute in his hands.
To make the heavens be mute.
His fingers intricately dancing over the tiny
carved wooden holes .
Playing an old,joyous Lata Mangeshkar song.
His skill was so divine,that made me shine
As if I am in a shrine .
As for the practice he took to play a song so
All the flutes vary in colour by colour,
Red, Orange,Yellow and Green .
Made me wonder.................
Don't you see the colours of the wind?
All the flutes lay in his basket .
Oh! How I wish I would have a Yellow flute
from his casket.
I wished, I could learn how to play the flute.
Imagine me! My fingers dancing almost to be
his talent .
Striving to maintain a balance .
The hope lasted a minute in my Heart.
But , suddenly was blown away by the wind.
The Flute Seller's song was still to be heard.
Then turned to a faint melody to be forever
