Her
Grass as green as can be.
Eyes as blue as the sea.
Her hair, soft and red, bounced to the rhythm of her feet.
My dress, purple and pink, it stretched to my knees.
She smiled and it was as if time stopped.
My world went still, but the earth still spun
I will never forget
The sparkles in her eyes, or the sun on her cheeks
I will never forget
The trill in her voice as she laughed, the way it rosened her cheeks
And when it started to rain, we danced and sang
I will never forget
The joy from that day.

This peice is a positive, happy form and mostly light hearted. I don't tend to write happy poems but this one came very easily to me for some reason and I was very proud of how it turned out. I hope someone reading this can enjoy or relate in some way.
