Tragic Day
June 10, 2021
As the sun smiled, everyone else stood in shock
The news spread electronically around the clock
A young star and his daughter fell to tragic deaths
All anyone could do was look down, cry and catch their breath
They saw the family
Broken and miserable
No words
No words to comfort
As they turned off the news went back to their normal lives
All they said in their prayers were good luck and goodbyes

I took the tragic day of Kobe Bryant and his daughter passing away in their accident. I wanted to make a poem so everyone remembers them and how important their lives were.
