MOURNFUL NATURE
On gazing at the sky I find,
the sun has put up its mask;
The weather has turned gloomy,
And preparing to let out a wail...
The rain drops do not make noise nowadays
On touching the ground, they calm down...
The clouds groan and continue to fulgurate,
expressing their intolerable pain...
The birds can't sing anymore,
They stare blankly with dewy eyes...
The nature's face has a doleful look,
keeping an unknown silence all the day...
The flowers don't blossom anymore,
They wither before they bloom entirely,
Springs go away without offering a smile,
The nature is always cold within...
I can't hear music around me,
All songs are lost and faded...
Our Lord has abandoned His flute,
So, peacocks stopped dancing in the rain...
Being trapped amidst the four walls,
I light up the candle of hope
that one day the sun will rise
in a healthy and heavenly earth...
