What is a home?
A home is where you feel safe
A home is where you are accepted
Every day that America lives on
Someone new is rejected access to their own front lawn
If it's an equal place for everyone
Why is it that only one
Gets to live in our America?
Families are separated
Seemingly just to mess with them
While their hopes of escaping are condemned
What is a home for these immigrants?
If not America, and if not their birthplace
Where are they safe?
Where are they accepted?
