Life Before Death
Days go by as I ponder the meaning
What it means to live
What it means to die
Should I want to live?
Or should I contemplate the meaning of death
Wasting my precious days of life
Dwelling on my sorrow
No
Life is short.
We hear that all the time
We are reminded of it so that we may pursue life
Fully
Life has always been so fragile
So easily undone
Tempting me to doubt
Tempting me to give up
Full of love and joy
Full of sorrow and grief
Yet I manage to find hope
So I seize the day as each day goes by
With a smile
A smile that could shake anothers day
Make them appreciate life like I have
For it is short
We hear that very often
Therefore living is what I choose
Living greatly, proudly
Fully
I love life
And I will continue to love life
Till I cannot anymore
