The elegant sun shines on the lake,

Reflecting the golden ray onto the ripples.

The boat glides on the lake,

The birds singing, Wind blowing,

Splash, splash.

The petite waves brush against 

The small two seated wooden boat.

Splash, splash.

The waves in the lake are rising higher than before

Splash,splash

The boy sitting on the boat starts to become concerned.

A call comes from the house

“Dinner Time!”

“Coming!”

The boy replies

He starts to row back but then,

The boat tips!

The boy is forcefully shoved under the boat

Trapped in the water

He gasps for air

He struggles to try and move the boat,

but it is too heavy for him.

He hears muffled screaming and crying

It’s coming from the house

The boy’s vision slowly starts to fade

He tries one last time to move the boat.

He is unsuccessful.

He gives up, his body tired from struggling,

Slowly he sinks to the bottom of the lake.
