Who's the Dog Now?
Grape with a hint of cherry
One day when a dog just licked it all up
Gulping every thought and headache
A smile bloomed on my face
Oh! Look at that silly dog
With a scritch at the fluffy ear
I walk along my merry way
My brain is made of air
Now I have no cares
Entire skull is empty
Silly dog got a sweet treat
Sun shines gently on my head
Smooth strokes as I walk
Air is fresh and cool
Smile so big, I drool

try reading the poem how to survive a fairytale.
Catherine has alway enjoyed writing and journaling. Her humorous tone is close to her personality. Her writing is a close look to her inner psyche and how her thoughts dart from topic to topic. This poem grew from a random thought that popped into her head one day as she gazed at her two lovely pups.
