You Are Beautiful
You are beautiful,
You could even be made into a musical.
I watched and watched,
To what you denied.
Just know I am always by your side.
You have a beautiful smile,
That is impossible to hide,
So don’t keep it inside,
Or push it aside.
I collected my thoughts like spilled over sauce,
And confirmed that you are exceptional.
Even better than the festival.
You are beautiful enough,
So hopefully things aren’t so tough.

My friends inspired me to write this poem. Throughout middle school, my friends and I constantly struggled with bullying, and this was my way of letting them know they are beautiful.
