Dear Mary
Dear Mary
Free verse
Thee are my bliss and my whole universe
you are my everything and to whom I
write every prose and every single verse
you take me high when I’m dry and make me fly
Thy smile is just like a bright shooting star,
Thou smell is as bright and sweet as candy.
oft I write songs for you on my guitar
All talking about my beautiful Mary.
Your brown eyes are sherry wine, unlike aught
Doth anything compares to you my sun;
Aye, your gorgeous smile has gotten me caught
I tell you, the perfect girl I have won.
No woe, and no foe, for I’m withal thou
thee could feel my burning love, thou allow.

Dear Mary was inspired by John Mayers song, and all of the love letters and poems I had read, How being in love makes me feel.
