Roy and Joy
Joy joy joy joy joy… what is joy?
Joy is the core of being happy.
The word can mean playful as a toy.
There are some people who have joy yet have most days crappy.
Some days that they have feel heavy with depression.
Still could have worse days, but glad to be alive.
Reminded it could be worse is more than a lesson.
Its joy that keeps us moving, the future, the essence to thrive.
Today its raining cats and dogs with a sky that mourns with gray.
I make the best of the weather; I put on my rain clothes with the letter R for Roy.
I was sad until I went out to play.
Now I think I understand the meaning of joy.
