The bitter gust of wind swept past my face

Piercing my ears along with it

I looked at the ethereal view in front of me

The skyline of the city that had been there the whole time

Nobody cared to pay attention to it

All different sizes, different shapes, different colors

As I stepped closer I started falling

Closing my eyes I let the bitter wind pick me up again

Immersed in the wonders of the world

I hadn’t noticed I was not falling anymore

In fact, I had been soaring the entire time

Soaring through the world as if we were all at peace

Hi! I'm Chaeli and I am 14 years old. I was inspired by the song Normal Girl by SZA to write this poem. I realized that we all can't be the same and it's sad that we have to look the same to be considered normal. So I wrote this poem and I hope you enjoy!
