Who's to Blame?
We all know people.
Near or far,
they make us who we are.
Friends and family bring me joy.
But sometimes they can annoy.
I love them all with my heart,
they were with me from the start.
Made me who I am today,
and continue to accompany me every day.
Life’s a journey that flies by fast,
and they remind me of my past.
As I meet new people I might change.
This new version of me may be strange,
but at my core who I am stays the same.
I have my friends and family to blame.

This poem is about my identity. The people that are around us make us who we are. Without them, we would be completely different people. Throughout life, we meet new people and we change but the people that are closest to us bring us back down to earth and our reality every time. I don't know what I would do without my family and friends!
