A Broken Heart
I was in love with you my girl,
You were my morning and my night.
With your smile white as a pearl,
Of my life you were a bright light.
Your sad silver eyes watched my soul,
With your deep gaze, you froze my thoughts.
When you left no one could console,
The guy who suffered from your shots.
You seduced me with your laugh,
The one with an amusing sound.
I wish I had a photograph,
That could capture your cute calm frown.
A huge mistake was choosing you,
But I'm not regretting our love,
Because from the first day I saw you,
I knew for sure this was true love.
After you left, I was alone,
Still hearing your sweet soft voice.
Since you've been gone, my pain has grown,
I wonder why you made that choice.
Your skin as pale as snow could be,
Still, it showed colors of hope.
You made me feel as I was free,
Even considered we elope.
My girl, my girl, my girl, you were,
My one and only, my girlfriend!
Our first kiss was an amazing blur,
I can't believe you chose the end.
You left me with a broken heart,
And tears were falling down my face.
My thoughts became heavy and dark,
Because you left a space I can't replace.
I can recall parts of you yet,
But not the one I liked the most.
Your face is just a silhouette,
I wish I had you, way too close.
My girl, I can't forgive myself,
Forgetting how you looked is pain.
I left you on the highest shelf,
It truly feels this love was in vain.
