Will I ever smile again?

Will the rain ever end?

Free me from my sadness,

Free me from my madness.

Pain tears me apart,

Pain stabs my heart.

Save me from this fate,

Before it's to late.

Wish upon a shooting star,

Wish to fly away.

Drown myself in song,

Or in a good book,

To forget about the world.

Will a smile return,

To warm my cold heart.

This poem is about how life can bring you down and that some people are struggling to get a grip on themselves; how you can get down so low that it feels like nothing will ever get better.

Wow...beautiful. Just know that you can message me if you need to. Maybe we could co-write together?

"Upon his bench the pieces lay
As if an artwork on display
Of gears and hands
And wire-thin bands
That glisten in dim candle play." -Janice T., Clockwork[love that poem, dont know why, im not steampunk]
