I lost my AirPods once, like any kid that has them,

But all I want to do is listen to R.E.M,

I searched high and low,

But after hours of looking, I have nothing to show.

I check the couch, I even check my dog,

But it was all useless just like a bog,

I so searched high and low,

But after days of looking, I have nothing to show.

Then I think to myself where could they have gone,

And I hope I would never have to use a piece of technology that was bygone,

If I could find them I would be as happy as a clam,

I would be so happy I might have a juicy lamb

I searched high and low,

But after weeks of looking, I have nothing to show.

Maybe I should call them wait, that's only for phones,

If only I could make thousands of clones,

I searched high and low,

But after months of looking, I have nothing to show.

My parents will kill me if I can’t find them at all,

I feel as if my searching has lead into a wall,

I searched high and low,

But after years of looking, I have nothing to show.

I lost my AirPods once, like any kid that has them,

but all I want to do is listen to R.E.M,

But I know I will find them,

Even if I have to clem.

I wrote this poem cause I feel many kids who have lost their AirPods or any other item of extreme value have shared similar feelings
