Stuck in Repeat
I'm not sure what's happening
like depression's overtaking me
maybe cause of quarantine
or something under(lying)
but its become so difficult
to keep everything running
smoothly like society
and hide my problems quietly
its like I've become
stuck in a cross country run
not sure where I'm going
or where I've come from
school is getting harder
the workload getting larger
my mind is a jumbled mess
just like these stanzas
no rhythm or time
inconsistent with rhyme
can't find a beat
yet stuck in repeat
how do I escape
this loop I made
stuck in here crying
am I better off dying

Written in the midst of quarantine, I wrote it for myself, but it has become my go-to poem to share. One of my best, in my opinion.
