Nocturne
Though our world revolves around light
There is a time of dark
When houses’ windows are sunlight
And street lights are the only thing to be seen
When big cities are hushed
And highways are abandoned roads
When the sky is dark with hints of glitter that sparkle above
Our world is surrounded by this but we know not of it till dusk
When the sun sinks to sleep and the world goes black
When everything is asleep and it is cool
When the world seems most quiet
Everything is still and magnificent
But we are not awake to see this beauty
The earth still rotates for it does not sleep
But even it is not giving the luxury to acknowledge its own beauty
We are unaware of the beauty we are missing
The sun will come back but in time of course
But while the night is upon us
The world is at peace
For once
