April Fools Day
The first day of April,
And in front of Spring Break,
Some nasty pranks will be pulled,
You just have to wait,
And wait…
And wait…
And Wait...
The next thing you know is that you're on the ground,
With three layers of scotch tape around your ankles,
You look around,
Grab some scissors,
Cut it off,
And stick it in the next person's hair.
A bowl of warm water is always quite a surprise,
Especially if your hand is inside,
Then you realize that your hand isn’t the only thing wet.
You sometimes wonder if this day will ever end,
As you sip on the creamed coffee your mom asked for,
And as she spits out the decaf.
A day of jokes and laughs ends quicker than you think,
This day ends quicker than the last.
