Moonshine

I love the moonshine

But why does all the good thing happen in sunlight

The ocean’s salty breeze feels and smells like home in the sun

And when we are all done playing in the sand

We enjoy fresh ripe mangos drip, drip, dripping from our chins and newly caught crabs simmering in the pot

YAWN 

I guess you can say the moonshine is best for one thing

Radiating the light to R.E.M. sleep 

Where I can always be with you
