Baseball poem
The bat hits the ball
It soars through the sky
We hope it goes out but if not it is alright
The ball hits the bleachers
It is a homerun
The crowd started cheering
The home team has won
The crowd storms the field after the final inning
The team has done it
They have finally won
They have won it all
But now it is done
The team leaves the field
Waiting for another game
That day may never come
So we have to enjoy it now
We need to be thankful
For allowing us to play this sport.
