What If
What if a world with no hate.
What if a world with no debate.
We could live in a world full of peace,
We would not need the police.
But the thing is we don’t and the world isn’t great
I don’t even know if I can trust my classmates.
I am only 13, but I feel I’ve seen it all
From death, to harm, to falsely accused
All because they don’t look like me
and now I'm confused.
So what if they don’t speak English or if their skin is dark.
That gives you no reason to call them all these nasty remarks.
See I never understood why this happens,
And I still don't do this day.
Because love is love it doesn’t affect you,
And their religion is theirs so stay out of it.
We are all people,
we’re not your objects,
We have feelings and family too.
So keep this in your head
Each and every day
That we are all humans in every way.
