If you had to choose,
What would it be?
Light or Dark?
Light because you feel like you could float
On the sky,
Because you can dance or cheer
Moving through the woods like a graceful deer.
Maybe because you can hide that evil side perfectly.
No one would know because you smile
A broken grin.
Or would you choose dark
A path that could be consider bad
But it is not.
A lightbulb under a pot
Where it cannot shine for all to see
Hiding behind a facade
And facing the odds
Of not being perfect.
Another option could be blending
Light and dark.
By blending them you hold the true power.
You don’t hide behind a coward,
Because you show your true colors like a flower.
