Car Crash
The car flipped upside down on the highway,
flames and black smoky air rise above it,
small flames sputter before my eyes.
Fear spins through my mind,
I don't know what to do,
I’m suffocating and I can’t take the pain.
Suddenly, she interrupts the dark,
this coffee shop girl in a Dunkins hat
takes my hand, gives me life.
I don't speak to her and that drives her crazy.
She brought me out of the darkness and I am so grateful.
I finally get to see the light again,
the sky, the world, everything.

Writing is something I love to do and i've been written for myself ever since I was a little girl. Writing gives me a sense of releif and it makes me feel like a weight has been taken off my shoulders.
I came up with this piece by taking lines from paragraphs of situations I'd been in and it turned into something totally unexpected.
