A Walk
I walk along without a shadow behind me
I walk without the weight that so often tags along
I walk, no longer bearing the shackles I put upon myself
I walk, noting the presence of what lurks up ahead
I walk on
I walk in the company of spirit and mind
I walk through planes of awareness and being
I walk, gazing up at pillars of guidance
I walk, seeing idols without their pedestals
I walk on
I walk toward what is and is not known
I walk toward amazement and perplexity
I walk toward fear and anxiety
I walk toward the uncomfortable
I run
